GET OUTSIDE & LEARN ABOUT SNOW!
Bring your classroom or private group up to the beautiful mountains to slap on some snowshoes, play in the snow, and dig into some REAL hands-on science to study snow, water, and winter ecology with local scientists and naturalists.
Wild Bear Nature Center partners with Winter Wildlands Alliance to bring classrooms up to 8,250 feet to Nederland (20 miles west of Boulder, Colorado) for a day of exploration with climate and snow scientists, and local expert naturalists.
SnowSchool is a national initiative and Wild Bear is considered a flagship SnowSchool site. This program takes place at the Wild Bear Property, Eldora Nordic Center, or other locations, depending on where we can find the best snow!

TIMES
Most of our snow school programs run about 2-3 hours long. Timing/length is flexible depending on your group’s needs.
AGES
Groups of all ages are encouraged to reach out!
COST
$150/hour for groups of up to 30 participants.
+$5/person after 30.
Snowshoes are included!
