The 16th Annual Enchanted Forest

Catch the bus near the Nederland RTD Park N Ride or by the Nederland Community Center, and head up to Wild Bear’s property at Mud Lake!

Schedule of Events:

All Day Events:  Enjoy a tour of the forest. Meet the animals who will tell their stories and fill your goody bag with wonderful mysterious gifts from the animals!

Warm up by the campfire, listen to the Elk bugle, live music including Native Flute musician Brian Goldstein!

Get your face painted by Face Fiesta, and enjoy magic all day from Doc Murdock and meet the special forest fairy!

Create a costume, make fairy crafts, dance to the music, and feel the magic of the season

Enjoy delicious food from the Pikine African Food Truck, chai from Kathmandu, and the community-driven bake sale!

Arrive at 11am for Marimba Music from Kutandara Marimba in Boulder.

2pm Meet the Park Rangers who keep us safe at Mud Lake Open Space, AND their beautiful horses!

Before or after you go to the Enchanted Forest ride the Carousel of Happiness and visit the Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center! 100% of proceeds at the Carousel will be donated to support Wild Bear’s mission to connect all ages to nature!

$8/person in advance, $10/person day of Children under 2 and seniors are free

All proceeds from the event will directly benefit Wild Bear and its mission to foster a life-long appreciation of the environment and to promote and environmentally aware, responsible and ecologically sound community.

Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center is the only all ages non-profit nature center in Boulder County and provides educational opportunities to thousands of people of all ages throughout the Front Range each year. With its broader vision to create a nature center in the mountains of Boulder County, the Enchanted Forest is the perfect venue for the public to experience this amazing educational resource.
