Bear Cubs: Ages 3-5 with an Adult: Every Wednesday, 10:30a-noon $15 per family (must be related) Meet at Wild Bear’s property at Mud Lake every Wednesday! During the summer months, Bear Cubs is a parent/child workshop. Meet at the Mud Lake parking lot and hike with us to the lake! Summer Camps for children ages 5-15 run from 8:00-3:30 with the option to sign up for after care from 3:30-5:30. Shuttle Service is available from Boulder to Nederland.
Nederbugs – Campers who are entering Kindergarten in the fall For the first time Wild Bear preparing Summer Camp 2013 for Kindergarten! Explore and discover nature at the Mountain Ecology Center, Middle Boulder Creek, Chipeta Park and Pond, Barker Reservoir, the willows, the woods and the community with our experienced Early Childhood Educators! Mountain Rangers – Campers who have finished K-1st grade The Mountain Rangers head out to Mud Lake to explore this magical place and integrate the arts into their discoveries. Click HERE for list of weekly programs.
Wild Naturalists- Campers who have finished 2nd-3rd grade Venture out onto the surrounding Rocky Mountain forest, bring your camera and put on your water shoes to discover the water, the woods, and the mud. Try your hand at catch and release, camping and survival skills, and document the fun through creative lenses. Click HERE for list of weekly programs.
Chautauqua Fridays For ages 5-8, children meet at Chautauqua in Boulder EVERY Friday and enjoy nature workshops in and around the local foothills! Click HERE for list of weekly programs.
Fly Fishing Camp - 10 years and up Every Tuesday, cast your line, practice the strategies for ecologically sound fly fishing. Learn from the experts to understand the natives and non-natives and what they are feeding on, and try to replicate invertebrates in the form of fly tying. Fly fishing equipment is provided. Science Art Connections- 10 and older Every Wednesday and Thursday, dig deeper into natural science and interpret your knowledge and discoveries through photography, clay, journaling, and much more. Overnight in the Woods: Thursday and Friday night, July 18 and 19. Ages 9 and up. Bring your sleeping bag and camp out for two nights in the mountains with Wild Bear this summer! Meet at Wild Bear Mountain Ecology on Thursday. Head up to our private ranch to discover set up camp! Spy on the chipmunks, search for the signs of migrating elk, collect and identify the native butterflies, catch frogs and play games, view the night sky, enjoy the campfire and create a skit to share with the group! Head back to Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center on Saturday to be picked up and share the best memories ever of the summer. Click HERE for a registration form.

Pricing:
- Sign up for any combination of days: $60/day (8-3:30), $15/day after care (3:30-5:30)
- Bulk rate: Sign up for 15 days or more: $55/day (8-3:30) and $10/day (3:30-5:30)
- Shuttle fee: $8/child/day between Boulder and Ned (Drop off your child at 8am in Boulder and pick up at 4pm in Boulder).

Shuttle Service: Fun, safe, and environmentally sound! Wild Bear’s top notch instructors ride the RTD bus to chaperone your child up to Nederland and back! Children always sit together with Wild Bear’s staff and engage in camp songs and other fun activities to make the 17 mile ride up the mountain a great start to the day. Service is $8/child/day.
Licensing: Wild Bear Mountain Ecology Center is a licensed School Aged Child Care facility and strictly follows all regulations and licensing guidelines. Licensing mandates a 15:1 child:adult ratio. However, Wild Bear maintains an average of 8:1 child:adult ratio, ensuring personal attention to your child.
