Bear Cubs

MUD LAKE CELEBRATION! ~ August 2~ Let’s celebrate the beauty of Mud Lake with music and crafts to take home! Find the dinosaur egg!

During the summer months, Bear Cubs is a parent/child workshop held on Wild Bear’s property at Mud Lake from 10:30-noon on Wednesdays. Meet at the Mud Lake parking lot and hike with us to the lake! Venture on trails, sing with us and discover the many plants and animals who live in and around Mud Lake. Pre-registration is required.

NCAR Friday

Animal Ninja:  Sneaky animals! Become a Ninja spy and camouflage yourself to discover the mysterious ways wild animals protect themselves. Some move about the forest in silence and unless you are a sneaky spy, you may never see them! Use your own ninja skills to track and trace these hidden creatures.

Learn to identify local high altitude plants for their edible and medicinal properties!

Brigitte Mars is an herbalist and nutritional consultant of Natural Health with over forty years of experience. She teaches Herbal Medicine at Naropa University, Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition, The School of Natural Medicine, Living Arts School, and Integrative Earth Medicine in Colorado. She has taught at Omega Institute, Esalen, Kripalu, and The Mayo Clinic, She blogs for the Huffington Post and Care2. She is a professional member of the American Herbalist Guild.
